The Rooms dedicated to Severini tell the story of the bond between Gino Severini and his hometown through a journey that retraces the main stages of his artistic career. Paintings, mosaics, drawings, and archival documents illustrate the evolution of one of the leading figures of the twentieth-century avant-garde, from Divisionism and Futurism to Cubism and the sacred art of his later years.
At the heart of the collection are the works donated to the MAEC by the artist and his family, bearing witness to the deep connection Severini maintained with Cortona throughout his life. The virtual tour allows visitors to explore the galleries housing this collection, offering a closer look at the artworks and at the personal and artistic journey of a master who successfully combined modernity and tradition.
