By train: Terontola or Camucia–Cortona railway stations.
From the stations, Cortona can be reached by taxi or by bus services operated by Tiemme or Autolinee Toscane.
Bus connections are also available from the railway stations of Arezzo and Castiglion Fiorentino.

Free admission every first Sunday of the month
The Archaeological area of Sodo joins the Regione Toscana initiative aimed at promoting and enhancing the archaeological areas and parks of Tuscany. For this reason, from April to October 2026, admission will be free on the first Sunday of the month.
Free-admission Sundays at the Archaeological area of Sodo: 5 April, 3 May, 7 June, 5 July, 2 August, 6 September, 4 October.
